Power power power...
Copywriters and advertisers have known for years that certain words, by themselves, excite readers and encourage them to learn more. Use as many of the following words as possible in your e-mail subject lines, brochures, ads, and on your web site: you, now, money, save, sale, new, secrets, results, proven, guaranteed, health, easy, safety, why, benefits, yes, love, discover, deliver, announcing, how, fast, information, intelligence, report, tip, news, bulletin, guide. Paper drives...
According to a study done by the Direct Marketing Association, using a higher quality of paper may have more of an effect on a mail piece than adding another color of ink-and it can be far less expensive. In the test, three identical mailers were printed on different paper stocks, one on blue textured cover and another on gray stock. Both were picked out above the control piece that was printed on white index stock by 8% and 17% respectively. In the same study, white index was compared to a white textured cover. The textured cover generated a 43% higher response than the index. Why? The feel and visual appeal of the textured paper; people want to see mailings on better quality paper. The next time you want to generate response from a mailing, remember it may be worth your while to consider your paper choice carefully.

Watch this...
Most people wear their watch on their left wrist. Fewer than 2% don't wear a watch. Most people own 3.5 watches, but tend to wear the same one daily. Are You Normal?

Quote of the month...
"The Chinese use two brush strokes for the word 'crisis'. One brush strike stands for danger; the other for opportunity." Richard Nixon
