Classy copies…
In the past, jobs intended for Xerox copying have been limited to uncoated papers. Well, thanks to Futura Laser papers, copies have just been upgraded. You now have access to all 6 coated laser papers currently available from Futura. These include the 28/70#, and 32/80# in 8 1/2 x 11 and 11 x 17. Futura Laser is one of the few gloss papers that works well with Xerox, Canon and other copiers/printers that use dry toners.

Stand up…
If you stand to present and use visual aids: prospects are 43% more likely to be persuaded and are willing to pay 26% more for the same product or service. The learning is improved by 200%, retention is improved up to 38%, and the time it takes to explain complex topics is reduced by 25% to 40%. So stand up.

Beat the clock…
As you design web pages, your primary goal is to have a reasonable balance between visual interest and page download time. If a page has so many images that it takes longer than 30 seconds to appear on the screen, divide it into two or more separate pages. Instead of using a full screen image, try a small, thumbnail-sized photo that, when clicked on, links to a larger version on a separate page. Even navigation buttons that are less than 5K each can add up and slow things down if you have too many of them.
—Robin Williams, The Non-Designer’s Web Book
