More tips for response driven design.
- Make things move. This can be dangerous though. Too much
movement on the page or in the wrong direction can hurt readability.
- Break up large areas into smaller visual ones. These
smaller chunks are easier to digest and add noticeability. Large massive
blocks of copy look like a lot of work to the reader. Make it easy for
them.
- Make different sections look different. The reader gets
bored easily and if they see something with the same style throughout,
it will look like a lot of reading to do, which means work.
- Talk the reader's language, Use colors, typefaces, layouts,
and overall appearances that the reader can relate to.
- Talk the product's language. Masculine products have
to look masculine, feminine products look feminine, etc.
- Keep things simple. Make the eye move easily from information
to information. Line up as many things as possible. This reduces eye strain
and distraction.

Free time...

fishing next, and then, in order: basketball, billiards, stationary cycling,
tent camping, volleyball, free weights, jogging, and softball. Guerrilla

Quote of the month...
"Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one
has reached in life as by the obstacles he has overcome trying to succeed."
